Whipped Cream Dispenser – I have the Gootus Whipped Cream Dispenser and it’s worked great for me! However, the Isi brand whip cream dispenser is the most popular version. There are a lot of brands available to purchase online just be sure to get one that is stainless steel and read the reviews for user experience.

Nitrous Oxide Cartridge – These little cartridges are what whip the cream in your dispenser. Also called N20 cartridges, they are used to charge the dispenser.

Ingredients for Basic Whipped Cream Dispenser Recipe

There are only three ingredients to make a simple and basic whipped cream in your whipped cream dispenser!

Heavy Cream – Heavy cream should contain between 32-36% milk fat. You can find it in the dairy aisle of your local grocery store. It’s either called heavy cream or whipping cream.

A whipped cream dispenser, a N20 cartridge, and a cup of heavy cream on a wooden cutting board with a marble background for making whipped cream dispenser recipes.

Powdered Sugar – This adds the sweetness to the whipped cream, while also helping to thicken the cream as powdered sugar contains a bit of cornstarch.

Vanilla Extract – Be sure to use pure vanilla extract and not imitation for the best results and flavor. Vanilla adds additional sweetness as well as makes it not just plain old milk flavored.

Method

Step 1 – Mix the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl or measuring cup. I hate dishes so I just use a large measuring cup!

Step 2 – Whisk until well incorporated.

Step 3 – Pour the heavy cream mixture into the dispenser and tightly screw the lid on.

Step 4 – To charge the dispenser, place a N2O cartridge into the cartridge carrier and tightly screw it into the dispenser lid. It will make a hissing sound as the gas is released into the dispenser.

Step 5 – Give it a good shake a couple of times to mix the gas and the ingredients well.
