How to Make Crispy Artichoke Hearts

This recipe is easy to prepare and elegant enough for guests!

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

In a medium sized casserole dish, toss the drained and rinsed artichoke hearts with the olive oil, dried time, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Remove the artichokes from the oven and sprinkle them with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.4 ounce can of artichoke hearts rinsed and drained
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese finely shredded
  • ½ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon Wedges for garnish
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prehea the oven to 450°F.
  • In a medium sized casserole dish, toss the artichoke hearts with the olive oil, dried thyme, and paprika. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the artichokes from the oven and sprinkle the tops with the panko breadcrumbs and finely shredded parmesan cheese.
  • Return to the oven and bake until the artichokes are crisp and the topping is golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove frorm the oven and top with fresh chopped parsley and garnish with lemon wedges.
