Ingredients
As promised there are only two ingredients in this simple yet delectable fruit dip!
Caramel Apple Dip – grab a container of the caramel apple dip you can find in the produce department of most grocery stores. These are usually 8 ounces in size.
Sour Cream – an 8-ounce container of sour cream.
That’s it! The sour cream cuts the overly sweet taste of the caramel apple dip creating an amazing dip that isn’t too sweet!
How to Make Two Ingredient Fruit Dip
Now to make the fruit dip, simply combine the two ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth.
It will take a bit to mix together as the caramel apple dip is rather thick but keep mixing until you have a smooth consistent color!
Pour into a bowl and serve with apple slices, grapes, strawberries, melon slices, or any other fruit you like to dip!
It’s so easy even my twins can mix it up! They love cooking with me and there are so many benefits to having them in the kitchen!

FAQ’s
Can I make this ahead?
Of course, who wants to worry about making the dip on the day of the party? Simply mix it together and store it in a covered container in the fridge until ready to use. I usually make mine a day or two in advance. Please be sure to follow the USDA Guidelines for storing leftovers.
Can I serve it with any type of fruit?
I usually go for apple slices (be sure to dip them in lemon juice so they don’t brown), grapes and strawberries as these are family favorites and great for dipping. You could also dip graham crackers or small cookies in it!
Can I double or half the recipe?
Absolutely! Just use equal parts sour cream and caramel apple dip!
Conclusion
This simple yet delicious 2 ingredient fruit dip is perfect on a charcuterie board or as an after school snack! The kid will certainly love it and so will your guests.
This sounds incredible! I bet the sour cream cuts the sweetness of the caramel dip in all the right ways. Have you tried it with Greek yogurt instead of sour cream? Think that would work as well? If so, that would pack a big protein punch into this snack.
Yes the sour cream cuts the sweetness of the caramel dip creating the perfect sweet but not overly sweet fruit dip! I’ll have to give it a try with greek yogurt soon!
