Ingredients for Air Fryer Loaded Potato Slices
Six ingredients are all you need for these delicious air fryer loaded potato slices!
Potatoes – I like to use russet potatoes for these bit sized loaded potato slices.
Bacon – I love adding bacon to potatoes and a few slices go a long way in this recipe!
Cheddar Cheese – While I prefer cheddar cheese for these air fryer loaded potato slices, feel free to use whatever cheese you have on hand!
Fresh Chives – Chives are a lovely little herb not only for their very mild onion flavor but for their bright green color! They add a touch of freshness to our potatoes!
Olive Oil – To help add a little crispiness to the potato slices.
Salt & Pepper – To season!
How to Make Air Fryer Potato Slices
This recipe is fairly easy to whip up anytime you have a craving for some loaded potatoes!
Grab your bacon slices and in a medium skillet over medium-low heat cook until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel lined plate to cool. Once cool break them into little pieces.
Wash the potatoes and slice them in 1/4 inch thick slices.
Dice the chives and set aside.
Lightly brush each potato slice with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.
Arrange the lightly oiled potato slices in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer.
Cook the potato slices at 400°F for 17-18 minutes, lightly shake the basket once about halfway through the cooking time.
Once the potatoes are cooked through and lightly browned on the edges, top each of the potato slices with the shredded cheese, then a bit of the bacon pieces and a few chives.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted!
Remove the loaded potato slices from the air fryer and serve hot with a dollop of sour cream for dipping!

FAQs
How do I store leftover air fryer loaded potato slices?
Store leftover cheesy potato slices in an air tight container for up to 4 days. To reheat them, place them in the air fryer for a minute or two until warmed through.
Can I cut my potato slices thinner or thicker?
I recommend cutting them 1/4 inch thick as this is just enough to cook properly. Anything thinner would cook to quickly and be more like a potato chip. Anything thicker might not cook through! Make sure to keep your potato slices an even thickness so they all cook at the same time.
