Red Velvet Crumbl Cookies (Crumbl Copycat)
Last weekend, I needed a quick dessert to make with my kids, and these red velvet crumbl cookies were a huge hit! They’re soft, taste like red velvet cake, and have awesome cream cheese frosting. My kids had a blast sprinkling crumbs on top 😉

Why These Cookies Rock
These cookies are super easy to whip up in 20 minutes, and the red color makes them perfect for parties. The frosting is so yummy, you might sneak a taste! They’re great for big groups, just like my dessert recipes for a crowd. Pair them with wine for a mom win after bedtime!
Ingredients
For the Cookies
- ½ cup butter, soft
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Red food coloring (enough to make it red)
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 ¾ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
For the Frosting
- 4 ounces cream cheese, soft
- ½ cup butter, soft
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar

How to Make Them
1. Turn your oven to 350°F. Put parchment paper on two cookie sheets.
2.In a mixer, mix butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until its smooth.
3. Add egg, vanilla, vinegar, and red food coloring. Mix it up well.

4. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, cornstarch, and baking powder. Stir until it’s all mixed, scraping the bowl.


5. Use a cookie scoop to make 10-12 dough balls. Put them on the cookie sheets.
6. Press each ball flat to about ½ inch with your hand or a glass.
7. Bake for 10 minutes. Let them cool on the sheets.

FOR THE FROSTING
8. Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix slow, then whip fast until creamy.

9. Put frosting in a piping bag with a big round tip.
10. Break one cookie into crumbs when cool.
11. Pipe frosting swirls on the other cookies, then sprinkle with crumbs.

Tips
- Make the cookies a day ahead and frost them when you’re ready.
- How to store? Keep cookies in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Let them sit out a bit before eating.
