Ingredients for Mummy Rice Krispie Treats

These delicious Halloween rice Krispie treats are made with only a few ingredients.

Rice Krispie Treats – Grab a box or two of those individually wrapped rice Krispie treats to make this as easy as possible. However, if you love making rice Krispie treats, you can use the original Rice Krispie treat recipe and simply cut them into rectangles.

A few individually wrapped rice Krispie treats in their packages next to a bowl of melted white chocolate on a marble counter.

White Chocolate Candy Melts – I like to grab my white chocolate candy melts from Amazon, although sometimes I can find that at Hobby Lobby too.

Candy Googly Eyes – You can buy candy googly eyes on Amazon. I’ve rarely been able to find them in stores! For a slightly spookier look, try these multicolored candy googly eyes!

How to Make Mummy Treats

This recipe is a great no-bake Halloween treat that is perfect for getting the kids in the kitchen and helping! My boys love helping me dip just about anything in chocolate!

Step 1

Grab a cookie sheet and line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

Melt the white chocolate candy melts according to the package directions. I use the microwave to keep this simple, but you can also use a melting pot or double boiler.

Step 3

Unwrap the individual rice Krispie treats and dip each one into the melted white chocolate about half way. No need to be exact here! Place each mummy rice Krispie treat on the parchment-lined cookie sheet.

Step 4

Before the chocolate dries, add two candy googly eyes to each mummy rice Krispie treat.

Use a spoon to drizzle a bit of white chocolate over the bottom of the mummy treat so it looks like the bottom was wrapped in strips of paper – you know like a mummy!

Allow the chocolate to dry and serve!

If you’d like to make these easier to hold, simply insert a popsicle stick in the bottom of each mummy!

Enjoy!

What to do with Leftovers?

If you happen to have leftover mummy rice Krispie treats, store them in an airtight container or ziplock bag for up to 5 days. Be sure to keep them at room temperature, so the chocolate doesn’t melt.

And if you have leftover candy eyes, try making these Halloween Ghost Cookies!

I hope you loved these delicious and fun Rice Krispie mummies as much as my family does! Happy Halloween!
