Chocolate is always a hit in my house and one our favorite dessert flavors! We love this walnut fudge recipe, blood orange olive oil brownies, or chocolate peanut butter lasagna, but when I want to make something a little bit fancy this Chocolate Kahlua Tart is the perfect dessert!

Ingredients

You’ll need a few baking staples and a few extra ingredients to make this delicious Chocolate Kahlua Tart!

All Purpose Flour – All purpose flour works best for this recipe.

Sugar – Regular white granulated sugar is perfect and a pantry staple for me!

Cornstarch – This helps make a delicious flaky crust.

Salt – This enhances the flavors when baking.

Butter – Melted butter adds a rich and decadent texture and flavor to the tart.

Olive Oil – Again it helps add richness and flavor!

Milk & Heavy Cream – A bit of milk in the crust and the heavy cream to make a rich chocolate filling.

Dark Chocolate – This recipe calls for dark chocolate rather than milk chocolate so be sure to get a good quality Dark Chocolate.

Kahlua – Of course, we’ll need some of this delicious liquer!

Vanilla Extract – I love making my own vanilla extract personally but if you don’t be sure to get real vanilla extract.

Flakey Sea Salt – A bit of flakey sea salt adds a pretty garnish.
