Ingredients

  1. 2 cups grapefruit juice (store-bought or fresh)
  2. ½ cup sugar
  3. 1 cup water (for the syrup)
  4. 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  5. 1 lime, juiced
  6. 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  7. Ice

Toppings (If You Want)

  • Grapefruit slices
  • Rosemary sprigs

How to Make It

Make the Rosemary Syrup

  1. In a small pot, mix sugar, water, and rosemary sprigs. Heat on medium, stirring until the sugar melts. Take it off the heat.
  2. Let the syrup cool with the rosemary in it to get more flavor. After it cools, take the rosemary sprigs out.

Put the Drink Together

  1. Fill two glasses with ice.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of rosemary syrup to each glass (add more or less if you want it sweeter).
  3. Pour 1 cup of grapefruit juice into each glass.
  4. Squeeze half a lime into each glass.
  5. Add 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda to each glass.
  6. Stir lightly to mix everything.

Add Toppings and Serve

  1. Put a grapefruit slice and a rosemary sprig in each glass if you want to make it pretty.
  2. Drink it right away and enjoy your tasty mocktail!
