Benefits of Using a Slow Cooker
I love dump-and-go crock pot or slow cooker meals! I absolutely love making crockpot meals in the morning. The convenience of throwing everything in the pot, letting it cook and having a delicious and aromatic meal ready by the end of the day is unbeatable! Plus, the smell from the crockpot fills my house all day, making me look forward to dinner. Pairing it with some frozen veggies or a salad makes the perfect meal and saves me so much time! My slow cooker probably gets used at least 2–3 times per week!
I decided to make this warm and comforting 4-ingredient chicken and stuffing after an epic 3-day snowstorm here in Minnesota. I knew we would be having a busy day of shoveling and playing in the snow and wanted something that would warm us up after a long day of working in the cold. By dinner time, a delicious, comforting meal of juicy chicken and perfectly seasoned stuffing would be waiting for us to enjoy. This recipe is incredibly easy to whip up, making it an ideal option for busy weeknights when we’re short on time but still want a filling, satisfying dinner.

Ingredients for Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing
This comforting and delicious meal requires only four simple ingredients that are pantry-friendly and almost always available in my home!
Chicken Broth – Using chicken broth instead of water to mix in will give you a richer chicken flavor. However, if you don’t have chicken broth on hand, feel free to use water instead.
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts – Putting boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot creates tender chicken that’s perfect for shredding. Feel free to substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs!
Stuffing Mix – Grab a box of stuffing mix such as Stove Top. You can use almost any flavor, but I would suggest Sage or Chicken.
Cream of Chicken Soup – I like to use Cream of Chicken Soup, but you can easily substitute it with Cream of Mushroom soup or your favorite cream soup.
That’s it! With just four simple ingredients, you can have a delicious and comforting meal ready to go in no time.

How to Make 4-ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken with Stuffing
I can’t tell you how easy this 4 ingredient slow cooker chicken and stuffing is! Honestly, it’s probably one of my favorite dump-and-go crockpot meals and my kids and family love it!
Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray for easier cleanup. Then place your thawed boneless skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season them with a little salt and pepper. Pour half of the chicken broth over the chicken breasts.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the stuffing mix, the cream of chicken soup, and the remaining chicken broth until well combined.
Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
To serve, I like to shred the chicken a bit and mix it with the stuffing. You can also scoop out the chicken and stuffing if you don’t want to shred the chicken.
Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables! If you want to get fancy, garnish with fresh Italian parsley or a few chopped fresh chives!
