1tablespoonhoney or maple syrupor sugar-free sweetener to taste
Pinch dried culinary lavenderoptional, but highly recommended! for floral vibes.
Ground cinnamon optional, for serving
Instructions
Brew the tea: Bring the water to a gentle simmer in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat, then add the Earl Grey tea and lavender, if using. Steep for 5 minutes.
Warm the milk: While the tea steeps, warm the almond milk in a second small saucepan over low heat. Do not let it boil. Stir in the vanilla and honey or sweetener.
Strain and combine: If you used loose-leaf tea or lavender, strain the tea into a large mug. Pour in the warm almond milk and stir gently.
Froth and serve: Froth the warm milk before pouring it in, if you have a frother, then spoon the foam on top. Finish with a little cinnamon or lavender, if desired. Serve right away.

Recipe Notes
One full recipe makes one large 16-ounce latte.
Use oat, coconut, or dairy milk if you prefer, but the nutrition will change.
For a less sweet latte, start with 2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup and add more only if needed.
Do not steep Earl Grey longer than 5 minutes; use a second tea bag if you want a stronger flavor.
