whole milk

beer
of your choice

teaspoons
dijon mustard

teaspoon
smoked paprika

cream cheese

shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt & Pepper
to taste
Sliced green onions or scallions
for garnish and dipping
Pretzels
Crusty bread and veggie sticks, for dipping
Instructions
Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for about 1-2 minutes or until a thick paste is formed.
Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly.
Continue cooking for about 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
Stir in the beer, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika. Cook, stirring for one minute.
Stir in the cream cheese and shredded sharp cheddar cheese and cook until the cheese has melted.
Taste and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with fresh sliced green onions.
Serve with pretzels, pretzel bites, crusty bread, and/or veggie sticks for dipping.
