Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large pot over low heat, melt two tablespoons of butter.
Add the milk and the lager to the pot and bring to a steady simmer. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add the macaroni and cook, stirring occasionally until almost done per package instructions.
Add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and fontina cheese and continue cooking until the cheeses are completely melted, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and transfer the macaroni mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
In a small bowl, melt the remaining two tablespoons of butter in the microwave.
Add the breadcrumbs, garlic, and parmesan cheese to melted butter and mix well.
Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the macaroni in the casserole dish.
Bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Allow to cool slightly before serving!
Enjoy!

Notes
Lager has a strong beer flavor but feel free to substitute a pale ale or wheat beer if you prefer. Remember to always use a beer or lager that you like to drink as the sauce will carry the flavor the beer or lager used.
