10

milk chocolate
roughly chopped
8
oz
dark chocolate or bittersweet chocolate

1 14
ounce
can sweetened condensed milk
2
teaspoons
pure vanilla extract
⅛
teaspoon
salt
¾
cup
walnuts
roughly chopped
Flaky sea salt or fleur de sel
for topping, to taste
Instructions
Line a 8x8 square baking pan with parchment paper, making sure there is enough overhanging the edge. Set aside.
In a medium heavy bottomed sauce pan, add both types of chocolate and the sweetened condensed milk and heat slowly over low heat.
Stirring frequently, cook over low heat until the chocolate is mostly melted and the mixture thickens, about 5-6 minutes.
Most of the chocolate should be melted but some small chunks will continue to melt from the warmth of the mixture.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the salt and vanilla extract, stirring to combine and the mixture appears smooth and glossy.
Fold in the roughly chopped walnuts and stir to combine.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Sprinkle with the desired amount of flaky sea salt and place the pan in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or until set.
When ready to serve, use the parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into bite sized squares.
Enjoy!
